A Special Scottish Islands Expedition Cruise

We are delighted to announce a special charter of the Aleksey Maryshev, one of the excellent expedition ships which we have been using in the Arctic and Antarctica for many years, for an exploration of the Scottish Islands to mark our 21st birthday.

The first departure (and we are expecting to need two to accommodate everyone who wants to join this very special celebration) is on 4th June 2009. It may seem a long way ahead but, in order to secure the charter we have to book it now, and that means we need an early commitment from those of you who want to join us. The second possible departure would be 28 May - again we need to know very quickly if there is sufficient interest to fill it. Both trips are for a week, starting in either Oban or Aberdeen and finishing in the other.

Highlights will be visits to such wonderful islands as Mingulay and St Kilda and a very special day in Shetland to celebrate the life and memory of the late Bobby Tulloch, MBE, co-founder of Island Holidays Plus.

We have full details available and very much hope as many of you as possible will be joining us for a week-long exploration of some of the most beautiful islands in the world.
