Second departures for popular destinations

Within just a couple of weeks of our brochure going out two of our UK holidays were fully booked, one (Scilly) an old favourite and the other (Outer Hebrides) a new introduction.

We have naturally responded by offering second departures. The date for our second tour to the Isles of Scilly is 17 May 2008 and the itinerary is the same as for April, taking in several of the "off islands" - Tresco, St Agnes, Bryher and St Martins - as well as exploring St Mary's itself. At the time of writing this tour is already 50% full so, if Scilly is on your agenda for next year, it might be a good idea to make your decision sooner rather than later.

For the Outer Hebrides we've changed the itinerary for June (departure is on 14 June for 7 nights). Because by this time of year the migratory birds will have long gone, we have replaced the time we would have spent sea-watching and visiting key areas for seeing such species as Pomarine Skuas and in stead included a boat trip to the evocatively-named island of Mingulay. It's a cracking itinerary and will still be based at the excellent Tigh Dearg Hotel at Lochmaddy on North Uist.
