Azores 2012 - new date
Our next visit to The Azores will be in September 2012.
These islands, remote in the Atlantic Ocean and known to sailors all over the world as a stopping off point on trans-atlantic crossings, remain unspoilt by mass tourism and as beautiful and varied as ever.
Our tour will be in September which will hopefully coincide with the grape harvest - and Azorean wines are superb, as are their cheeses and traditional dishes all of which we'll have a chance to sample. Departure is from London Heathrow on 7th September, the holiday is for 9 nights and the fully inclusive cost is £2,495. We'll do a bit of gentle walking, learn about the islands' fascinating geology and have two half days' whalewatching plus lots more. It's a super place to go.
