Faroe Islands

New itinerary for Faroe Islands 2011

The Faroe Islands are addictive.  Many people, having been there once, want to return but they also want to see something new while they're there.  That's why we at Island Holidays re-invent our Faroes itinerary each year.  The result is a holiday which introduces newcomers to the islands, showcasing their better known features, but also offers something different and more off the regular tourist trail.   For 2011 that will be the island of Kalsoy which we'll visit as a day-trip from the village of Gvogv where we'll be staying for a couple of nights.  The airport island of Vagar and Suduroy in the far south are also included, alongside the capital Torshavn and the ancient ecclesiasticl centre of Kirkjubour.
