See you at Rutland

It's coming up to that time of year again when birders and naturalists from all over the world gather at Rutland Water for the British Birdwatching Fair. Dubbed "the Glastonbury of birdwatching", the Fair has grown from modest beginnings into probably the largest conservation event in the world (I'm guessing at that - haven't checked it out!).

As well as having raised well in excess of a million pounds for worldwide conservation projects, the three day bonanza is one of the most fun events ever created. There's masses to do and see and, of course, at the hub of it is the camaraderie. I reckon I get more hugs at Rutland than in the rest of the year put together!

The dates for this year are Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 17/18/19 August and, as usual, we'll be in Marquee 3 on stands 3 & 4. Hope to see you there.
